The Opportunity We have a contract opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to join Stockland’s Development finance team to partner with our QLD Land Lease communities development team. In this commercial role you will drive relationship management with the business, and support and influence the execution of the Land Lease Communities Business. This role can be based from our Sydney or Brisbane office and is being recruited as a contract covering parental leave until October 2025. Key Responsibilities of this role will include: Lead Assumption setting for the budget and financial planning. Engage with Senior Leaders: Identify opportunities, manage risks, and drive business performance. Develop Capital Requests: Create financials for capital requests and growth initiatives. Strategic Financial Analysis: Synthesize financial components and advise on strategic decisions. Performance Analysis: Analyze business performance, communicate risks, and influence key decisions. Build Stakeholder Relationships: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Ensure Compliance & Drive Improvement: Monitor performance, ensure compliance, and lead improvement initiatives. About You This role is suitable for someone with strong commercial acumen You will be naturally curious & inquisitive individual with the desire to understand and effectively communicate the “WHY” behind the numbers. To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, Qualifications and experience: Qualifications: CA/CPA or equivalent preferred. Experience: Proven experience in commercial management, financial accounting, forecasting, and business insights. Skills: Advanced leadership, customer-centric approach, collaboration, decision-making, commercial acumen, planning, relationship management, and data analytics.
