Company - The Oxford Hotel/The Lion Majestic Hospitality Group Position: Full-Time Location: Bathurst NSW Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 a year The Oxford Hotel is a staple in Bathurst, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with a lively Main Bar, outdoor Beer Garden, and versatile Big Room for events.The new Terrace Rooftop Bar at The Oxford Hotel provides a stylish space for Bathurst locals and visitors to unwind with sweeping views of the city.Whether it's for casual get-togethers or special events, The Terrace is perfect for enjoying signature cocktails, craft beers, and delicious bites in a relaxed atmosphere.The Oxford Hotel is currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team.The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in managing all aspects of restaurant operations.Tasks and Responsibilities: Ensure the restaurant team abides by company Service Standards.Ensure restaurant service is provided as per the Company Sequence of Service and RSA requirements.Collaborate with the Head Chef to produce an appealing and unique menu.Coordinate bookings (including functions and events).Ensure compliance with licensing and hygiene legislation/guidelines.Meet food and beverage operational and financial objectives.Resolve guest grievances tactfully and promptly.Ensure optimum ordering of stock & conduct accurate stock takes monthly.Ensure the food and beverage team adheres to current budgets and targets.Comply with the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Regulations.Motivate and drive the food and beverage team through ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring.Skills and Experience: Relevant qualification in the hospitality industry.At least 2 years of relevant experience.Proven management experience in hospitality/customer service environments.Demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve results.Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills.Excellent presentation and grooming standards.Technical product knowledge in food and wine.Understanding of budgets and forecasting.Microsoft Office skills.High level knowledge of Point Of Sale and end-of-day reconciliation procedures.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.If you meet the above criteria, please apply now; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
