Senior Civil Designer, Water Infrastructure - Shape the Future of Water Infrastructure
Are you a seasoned Civil Design engineering professional looking to make a significant impact in the industry? Join our dynamic team as a Senior Civil Designer and lead the way in creating innovative water infrastructure solutions.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Designer to join our Water Infrastructure team.
This role can be based in Cairns, Townsville or Brisbane.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering design and drafting support for projects. This role requires a dynamic individual who can offer technical input within the design team, undertake technical reviews of deliverables, and actively participate in project meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide design and drafting support for project teams.
* Ability to coordinate design documentation deliverables across disciplines.
* Coordinate the setup of projects on data sources and manage user access.
* Provide technical input within the design team.
* Attend and participate in project meetings.
* Effective communication both internally within the business and with external clients.
* Support and promote strong service delivery to internal and external clients.
* Promote and participate in resource sharing opportunities.
* Support Project Managers in managing operational risk, HSE, and quality.
Here's what you'll need
Skills and Qualifications:
* Associate degree in Civil Engineering (or relevant equivalent) and relevant industry chartership / accreditation.
* Ideally around 5 - 10 years’ experience with, AutoCAD, Civil3D and/or12D
* Experience with ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud and Navisworks
* Have knowledge and experience with civil design projects including topographic surveys, DTMs, pipeline grading, and utility layouts.
* Proficiency with general office software (Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) and visualization software.
* Ability to work independently, coordinate with various disciplines, and to manage multiple tasks and projects under deadlines, as well as anticipate, identify, and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner.
