We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities to join our dynamic team at Wondai State School! About The Role
The key responsibilities of this role are to maintain the school grounds to a high standard. You will be working alongside our current schools officer who is doing dual roles. You will not be required to undertake any duties in which you are not qualified to do.
Your Roles Will Include But Not Limited To
* Mowing using a zero turn mower
* Edging, whippersnipping
* Maintaining equipment
* Minor trimming of branches (within level of skill or scope)
* Maintaining gardens
* Movement of items around the school
* Helping to provide maintenance around the school
* Work within WH&S guidelines
* Operate safely
* Maintain stock levels
* Keeping the grounds maintained to a high level
You must have a current blue card, good people skills, be able to work independently and alongside others. You must be able to prioritise work required based on need/due dates etc.
Skills recommended but not required include current knowledge working in a school environment and good teamwork skills. Previous experience using zero turn mowers is also beneficial.
