Care Community Manager – James Thomas Court Residential Aged Care Community
Full Time Opportunity - 80 hours per fortnight plus ADO
Location: Ballarat | 34-Bed Facility
Grampians Health is seeking a suitably qualified Registered Nurse to lead and inspire our dedicated team at James Thomas Court Residential Aged Care Community, located in the heart of Ballarat.
This key management and leadership role is essential to providing operational direction and leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and resident-centered care. As the Care Community Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating an environment that promotes excellence in care and well-being.
The ideal candidate is results-driven, innovative, and a catalyst for positive change, committed to enhancing patient and resident care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

* Encourage innovative practices to enhance staff satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
* Continuously review and implement evidence-based clinical care.
* Lead and Support Change Initiatives
* Communicate a positive vision for change and guide the team through transitions.
* Facilitate staff input into clinical practice and workflow decisions.
Skills and experience
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
* Demonstrated management experience in a Care Community (Aged Care setting)
* Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary nursing theory to practice
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of quality systems and Aged Care accreditation.
* Evidence of commitment to innovation and continuous improvement and the delivery of a high standard of resident centred care
* Post graduate qualification in management and/or Aged Care nursing desirable

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024. The classification is Nurse Unit Manager (NM11) $63.80 per hour.
