About the Role
The aim of the Program Assistant is to actively support the Operations Manager in the referral process of clients, the review of client’s services, program related administration tasks and the management of the client data base. Demonstrate leadership and peer support to assist teams to achieve positive outcomes with the children and young people we support.
This position is being offered on as a 12 Months Maximum Term Full-Time contract, working from our office in Unley.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain local administrative finance systems and procedures to support the effective management of programs.
Manage registers for the purpose of licensing and compliance as well as external reporting
Supporting the operations manager in managing assets and resources across the programs
Manage learning and development registers including induction of new staff members
Provide administrative support to management in recruitment
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience in a similar role; with the ability to multitask and prioritise work loads
Experience in providing managerial and team support and assistance
Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion in dealing with commercial, private or personal information
Proven problem-solving capabilities and ability to work under pressure
Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies
Excellent verbal communication skills and presentation ability
Qualifications & Licences
Tertiary qualifications in the health or welfare field and/or relevant experience.
Current First Aid certificate.
Current Full Unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence.
DCSI Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain if successful).
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check.
