Production Operator with Forklift Ticket
Fuse Recruitment are currently looking for a Production Operator with Forklift ticket to commence ASAP. This role is located at Pinkenba and is a Temp – Perm opportunity. Our client is a market leader in innovative road surfacing products with a focus on, environmental responsibility, and maintaining a safe and supportive work environment.
In this role, you will be partly responsible for the operation of their Pinkenba import and manufacturing facility. You will be working with materials and operating machines that make road surfacing products so you must be able to cope with smells and heat. Training will be provided – we are looking for a quick learner ready to take on this role.
Rotating Roster
This role has a rotating roster of Day Shift 1 week, Nights the next with 12 hour days.

What will I be doing?
* Efficiently operate plant machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and effective production processes.
* Track and adjust machinery settings for optimal output.
* Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs.
* Handle raw materials and products, ensuring accurate inventory.
* Keep accurate records of production and equipment performance.
* Clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by policies and procedures
* Control Room Operation
* Move in-process materials and finish stock to/from production areas
* Participate in safety meetings and programs
* Ensure compliance with all company guidelines, policies and procedures
Essential Requirements
* Valid Forklift Licence
* Previous experience with asphalt, cement, bitumen ect
* Previous experience operating plant machinery and forklifts in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in a hot, potentially odorous environment.
* Ability to monitor equipment performance and handle materials with precision.
* Capability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with supervisors.
