You will be responsible for
:
* Maintaining and Install safety technological systems within the mining area at Murrin Murrin including Operator Alertness System (OAS), Collision Avoidance System (CAS) and Geotechnical Monitoring instrumentation
* Installing and maintaining VHF/UHF communications and mobile fleet management system hardware and software
* Installing and commissioning of High Precision Machine Guidance Systems and Fleet Management Systems
* Installing and maintaining point to point microwave and Rajant WiFi mesh systems and associated applications
* Preventative maintenance through regular inspections to ensure equipment meets safe working requirements
* Assisting with mining databases and reporting
* Maintaining communication and Fleet Management System parts inventory
About You
This role would suit a technically minded person looking for a new opportunity with in a mining setting where no two days are the same. You will also have:
* Experience with maintain Wi-Fi mesh networks and exposure to safety systems such as OAS and CAS
* Experience installing, maintaining and fault finding radio communications equipment and Fleet Management Systems
* Experience in the configuration and programming of communication devices
* An aptitude for learning technical material and are detail orientated
* Understanding of Microwave PTP, PTMP based radio and antennae systems
* The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholder’s
