About the Role
The Principal Treatment Operations (W&WW) is a key operational leadership role purposed to lead the teams and deliver exceptional operational standards, operations risk management and oversight of critical assets such as water and wastewater treatment plants and bulk water infrastructure.
This position plays a key role in operations of water/wastewater treatment systems and bulk water asset and working collaboratively across Council to champion our purpose of Growing Townsville and to deliver the Corporate Plan in consultation with the Townsville Community.
About You
Our ideal applicant will have demonstrated minimum experience of 10 plus years in managing and operating complex water and wastewater treatment systems or similar essential infrastructure with the ability to interpret and understand relevant legislative context applicable to water infrastructure operations and implement operations strategies to achieve complete regulatory compliance.
You will need to have demonstrated experience in leading and empowering teams of engineers, technical professionals, and treatment plant operators.
