About The Role In this role, you will be responsible for the management of the configurations across all assets that ConnectSydney maintain for TfNSW. The primary areas of focus include the management of all configuration requests and changes that are identified for the Harbour Zone and ensuring that Configuration Management is applied at all stages. You will ensure there is successful handover of project completion data to TfNSW at the end of each project. Additional focus areas including support of the TAMP development process, asset management, and ownership of the assurance that we provide TfNSW on network condition. Key responsibilities: Establishing, managing and governing the Configuration management process for ConnectSydney, ensuring compliance to TfNSW specifications. Ensuring all configuration changes are reviewed at relevant asset lifecycles and pass through the relevant gate process. Ensuring all configuration changes are traceable. Reporting on configuration activities and coordinate appropriate audits to ensure the process has been implemented. Managing the handover of new assets from TfNSW projects to ConnectSydney (Asset Management Briefs) including the pricing and forecastings of works, inventory updates and communication to all relevant stakeholders of the changes and impacts. Managing handover of asset information (Gate 5) to TfNSW from completed ConnectSydney projects. Ensuing that condition data of assets is being transferred to TfNSW through the established processes. Ensuring Asset Management compliance as required. Assisting the Network Needs Manager in managing asset management in accordance with the standards and identified risks relating to Asset Management. About You Our ideal candidates will have: A degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering). Asset management certification through Asset Council Australia is preferred. Demonstrated understanding of reliability engineering concepts, and a background in process and systems environment, focused on developing a structured approach to business. Understanding of asset management (ISO 55000 series). Experience in asset management, construction and/or maintenance services industry is preferred. Experience across delivery of maintenance services in either a civil or electrical context would be highly desirable. Strong understanding of constraints relating to safety management in road network environment.
