We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of motor vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for customers.
The Motor Mechanic will work on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems, providing top-notch service and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:Diagnose Problems: Identify mechanical issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools, test drives, and inspection techniques.· Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems.
Conduct regular maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.· Parts Replacement: Replace worn or damaged parts with new or reconditioned parts, ensuring the vehicle functions correctly and safely.· Testing: Test vehicles after repairs to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.· Customer Service: Communicate with customers about their vehicle issues, repair timelines, and costs.
Provide professional and courteous service.· Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.· Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.· Continual Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and education.
Qualifications:Education:** High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification from an accredited automotive repair program is preferred.Experience:** Minimum of 4years of experience as a motor mechanic or in a related field.
