What You Will Be Doing The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) of the Acute Medical Surgical Unit provides advanced nursing and clinical leadership in proactively managing and coordinating clinical practice and the provision of human, financial and material resources in accordance with organisational goals, ensuring a cost- effective nursing service focused on providing exceptional, evidenced-based patient centred care. AMSU is a 30 bed mixed medical surgical unit located at Frankston Hospital, providing care for a wide range of patients with general medical, surgical and gynaecological conditions and some cardiac monitoring. We have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Unit Manager to join our dynamic and diverse team working full time Monday to Friday. The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is a valued member of the leadership team at Peninsula Health, and plays a crucial role in the overall functioning and management of the unit while ensuring high quality patient care and effective team performance.
