Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (Acoustics, Noise and Vibration Team) Sydney, AustraliaRWDI Australia specialises in resolving acoustics, noise, vibration, air quality, climate change, wind engineering, and building science issues for a wide array of architectural, engineering, industrial, commercial and government clients.With locations and 700+ people strategically positioned throughout the world, we have worked closely with many different sectors for over 50 years to meet measurement, modelling, design, mitigation and regulatory needs.Our dynamic engineering team is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our Acoustics/Noise and Vibration team in our Sydney office as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with experience with Electronics.The role includes but is not limited to: Prepare and maintain our fleet of real-time noise and vibration monitors for field deployment.Helping to conduct field measurement programs ranging from same-day site visits to the support of multi-year monitoring programs in a variety of challenging settings.Collaborate closely with our global equipment and monitoring teams to optimise system performance.Collaborate with our engineering team (primarily Noise, Vibration and Air Quality) to support the development and maintenance of monitoring systems.Assist in configuring and troubleshooting monitoring devices (monitors, sensors, modems etc).Take ownership of our existing online monitoring platform, ensuring it operates effectively and integrates with field devices.Support the configuration, troubleshooting, and calibration of various monitoring equipment, including monitors and modems.Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project discussions.We are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications: A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with experience with Electronics.Ability to work in a variety of physically demanding environments.A valid driver's license.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in Australia.
