The successful incumbent to the role will provide hands-on support in all areas of treasury and tax operations ensuring they are administered in a timely, efficient and effective manner and in accordance with MACS finance policies. The role will also support continuous process and system improvements and initiatives to enhance internal controls and improve efficiency of effectiveness across Group Finance. WHAT YOU WILL DO Manage the overall treasury function of MACS Office and other Associated entities managed via a Service Level Agreement (SLA) in line with applicable finance and investment policies Prepare regular cash reports and cashflow forecasts as well as other treasury reporting to ensure optimal cash and investment position Administer corporate bank accounts and credit card facilities, including account opening/cancellation, account updates, access management, authorised signatories, and timely communication with banks on account related matters Assist with continuous improvement initiatives of the treasury and tax functions to uphold internal controls and enhance efficiency and effectiveness ABOUT YOU Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the treasury and tax function for medium to large organisations Demonstrated understanding and application of prevailing tax laws, rules and regulations, in particular GST and FBT Full membership of or progressing toward full membership of a professional accounting association such as Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or Certified Practicing Accountants Australia (CPA) Demonstrated ability to work meticulously with a high volume of data in an accurate and timely manner This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for approximately 18 months to backfill a maternity leave position HOW TO APPLY Please refer to the position description for further details about the role and the Key Selection Criteria.
