Working with both government and non-government clients, you will work alongside Ashurst's Projects & Energy Transition, Real Estate & Property legal teams to bring a unique and market-leading approach to advising and supporting clients to navigate complex strategic commercial issues throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.
As a result of establishing and growing our team, we are looking to hire a Specialist (equivalent to a Consultant/Senior Consultant/Manager in Big 4 consulting) with commercial advisory experience in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane. You will be responsible for:
Delivering commercial solutions
Providing effective communication to clients
Maintaining key Ashurst and client relationships
Contributing to the growth and development of the Risk Advisory practice and Infrastructure, Places and Capital Projects team in Australia and globally
Supporting business development activities, including tendering, to build the profile of the firm and yourself

About You: You have:
3-5 years of infrastructure and/or property advisory experience, ideally within a consulting environment
Comfort supporting clients on commercial issues relating to major public infrastructure and/or property projects to ensure project success
Experience in risk advisory, property development/advisory, engineering, strategy, finance/financial advisory and/or economics (encouraged to apply)
Experience in the infrastructure, projects or property industry (essential)
Proven experience delivering high quality work for clients and stakeholders in line with expectations and deadlines
The ability to autonomously find solutions to a range of problems, especially those related to risk management, in a commercial and client-focused way
Exceptional written and verbal communication with a focus on attention to detail
Experience writing a range of business documents including reports, letters, and proposals
A proven record of providing the highest quality service to clients while fostering professional and commercial relationships with a range of stakeholders
A passion for collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to solve client problems
A proactive approach to seeking and welcoming feedback to enhance your skills and expertise
An enthusiasm for ongoing learning and daily skill development
Excitement to work in a team that allows you to take on more responsibility and proactively get involved in a range of work, including client interaction and business development
