As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst within our Stress Testing and Collective Provisioning Team you'll gain exposure to all the organisation portfolios and will make an impact by: playing a key role in assessing credit risk under various scenarios as part of the Group's stress testing activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate the delivery of Enterprise-wide stress tests assisting in model development / enhancement of the credit risk stress testing models and providing support for the delivery of Enterprise-wide stress tests, climate risk stress tests and any other ad-hoc stress testing requested by business units or the Board. liaising with business managers and owners to understand how stress testing can be embedded in decision making, drafting of policy and management of their portfolios presenting and explaining the stress testing results to relevant committees and stakeholders engaging with various stakeholders across the organisation What you'll bring to the role Demonstrated credit risk analysis and credit risk modelling experience in a bank with responsibility for the majority of this role's key duties. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel and SQL). Experience in model development with proficiency in SAS. Ability to draft high quality technical reports and documentation, and effectively present complex information to non-technical people. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Degree in an area with a significant economics and maths / statistical content (e.g., Engineering, Operations Research, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, Science, or similar areas supported by either undergraduate or post graduate Economic studies). It will be advantageous to bring: Expertise in quantitative methods, mathematics, and modelling Experience in banking and finance with credit risk modelling Understanding of macroeconomics This is a permanent full-time position.
