Joondalup Health Campus, (JHC) is a 722-bed facility owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, Australia’s largest and most respected private hospital operator. The Position:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Education Support Officer (MESO) to join our team. We are looking for a MESO who will be committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values whilst providing exceptional administrative support.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain teaching schedule and arrange speakers, venues and catering
* Arrange feedback and evaluation of the education programs and terms for all postgraduate doctors
* Monitor mandatory competency training requirements for all medical staff (inclusive of practical sessions)
* Collate term assessment forms for junior doctors
* Plan, facilitate and evaluate term orientation programs for junior medical staff
* Update departmental manuals/material as required
* Organize travel requirements for Interns to rural locations
* Assist with the ongoing management of our doctors online platform (MedApp).
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
* Demonstrated highly developed communication and interpersonal skills (both oral and written)
* Ability to adapt to utilising multiple systems (MS Teams, Zoom, MsgMedia, Ramsay Training Institute, MedApp)
* Demonstrated ability to confidently work within the back end of systems
* Proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
* Exceptional organizational skills and initiative
* Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
* Ability to generate enthusiasm, a resourceful and resilient personality and an approachable and tactful manner
* Ensuring on-going relationships with external individuals/companies (Department of Health, rural sites).
Desirable:
* Knowledge of the roles of junior medical staff in teaching hospitals and/or associated health care facilities
* Knowledge and understanding of education program evaluation
* Knowledge of post graduate medical education and PMCWA.
Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $39.90 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
* Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
* Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
