Due to several recently awarded projects, a position now exists for an experienced technical Architect (registration not mandatory) to join this exceptional team of professionals.
Your new role
* Exercise high precision trade, discretion, and operative skills
* Ensure all assigned deliverables are coordinated and consistent
* Understand and apply quality control techniques
* Maintain strict confidence of all privileged information
* Provide support to the Team Leader relating to Town Planning matters, including but not limited to reviewing & satisfying planning conditions, coordinating Town Planning endorsement packages etc
* Coordinate and prepare Marketing Presentation documentation and Contract of Sale documents, as required by the Team Leader
* Assist in Design Development, provide documentation to obtain Building Permits, and liaise with all required Consultants and Project Managers throughout the process of documentation with the relevant Team Leader
* Assist in providing take-off information and support to the Construction Department, for obtaining costing relevant to specific trades and suppliers
* Consideration to economical construction methodologies & sequencing, as required by the Team Leader
* Ensure documentation and deliverables are consistent with Contract of Sale documents, to maintain the integrity of the development as sold to purchasers
* Provide support to the Project & Site Managers, answering queries, and providing documentation amendments or building solutions as required
* Review of Construction Shop Drawings as required by the Team Leader and/or Project Manager
* Ensure the completed development meets the Relevant Authority requirements, in consultation with relevant Departments
* Attend meetings as required, including but not limited to staff meetings and consultant meetings
* Assist the Team Leader in ensuring the project timeline and assigned deliverables are punctual
* Assist the Team Leader in maintaining documentation standards and processes for the most efficient delivery
What you'll need to succeed
* Relevant Architecture/Building Design qualifications
* 5-10 years' local AUS experience (Class 2 / Multi-Res experience is a must)
* Construction documentation & Building Permit coordination experience necessary; Town Planning not so critical
* Registration not necessary
* Coordination with builders and contract admin experience desirable
* Autodesk REVIT knowledge is mandatory at an intermediate - advanced level, minimum 2 years industry experience
* Autodesk AUTOCAD knowledge desirable
* BIM360 / Autodesk Docs knowledge is desirable
* Bluebeam Revu knowledge is desirable
* Microsoft Office Suite knowledge is mandatory
* Strong Construction technical knowledge
