About the role
We are seeking a talented Finance System Analyst to join our team. As a Finance System Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our financial systems, ensuring their efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.
You will be responsible for assisting inpleting the day-to-day administration, maintenance and monitoring of General Ledger system, helping analysis and resolution of system issues to reducing user impact, pro-actively partner with the Finance users and our IT provider to enhance reporting automation capability and user experience.
This role has Hybrid working arrangements and involve working standard office hours, although some longer hours may be required during busy periods such as the end of the financial year.
Top Role Accountabilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolveplex technical issues, implement system enhancement and support business processes.
2. Assist in maintaining and day to day administration of the general ledger system and finance system processes
3. General ledger (GL) monitoring, conduct relevant GL system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide user support.
4. Participate in system upgrades and implementations
5. Month end cutoff and Manual Journal Coordination: Assist in coordinating and monitoring of late Manual journals including month end lessons learned
To be successful in the role, you will have:
6. Bachelor's degree inmerce, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
7. Relevant programming experience in VBA and/or SQL.
8. Experience working with financial systems, databases, and reporting tools including PowerBi.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
10. Values-led mindset, with amitment to integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Banking experience would also be advantageous but not critical to success in the role. This role would suit a recent graduate with Finance and IT background who are interested in applying your programming and analytical skills to grow with us.
