In this unique role, you will be given the opportunity to work across and learn about each of our People and Culture (P&C) areas including Learning and Development, Recruitment and Operations, Wellbeing and Safety and Employee Relations. A major component of your role will involve maintaining our people related systems including entering accurate data and records and providing regular reports to ensure we maintain legislative and policy compliance. This data and records includes: Working with Children Checks, National Police Records Checks, Visas, Learning and Development e-learning and workshop attendance records, employee onboarding and offboarding, Wellbeing and Safety preventative programs. As you grow into the role, there will be opportunities for you to bring your personal touch and identify and implement service and system improvement initiatives. In addition to maintaining people related system data and reporting, you will: Undertake general administrative tasks associated with Council’s Identification Card requirements, Employee Security Checks, Corporate Development Calendar, Induction, e-learning, OHS, Performance Review, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and document management. Support employee queries and respond to all correspondence in an accurate and timely manner Maintain P&C related information on our Intranet About you There are lots of qualities that we look for in our team, but above all we are looking for a team member who is customer focused, approachable, engaging and incredibly passionate about what you do.
