Project Costing and Administration Officer Work within a respected Queensland Government department.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
Support project teams with financial administration and project costing Create efficient procurement processes and ensure seamless supply management Contribute to the successful delivery of projects by monitoring budgets and providing timely financial reports Prepare and process timesheets, ensuring accuracy in allowances and entitlements Investigate and resolve supplier and payroll discrepancies Maintain good governance and compliance with financial processes and policies Collaborate with managers to facilitate procurement and financial transactions Uphold the Queensland Public Service Code of Conduct and Zero Harm commitment This is Not a Work From Home role. Hours: Monday - Friday (36.25 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $49.40/hour + super

What we're looking for:
Proven experience in project costing, financial administration, or procurement Strong knowledge and experience with SAP R/3 or similar financial systems Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliation Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team Strong organisational and time management skills Confidence in processing payroll and timesheets in line with Industrial Awards A proactive approach to resolving discrepancies and finding solutions Commitment to ethical standards and workplace safety policies Previous experience in a government department (highly regarded but not essential) #J-18808-Ljbffr
