Providing technical leadership across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable platform solutions that meet business objectives and ensure alignment with the company's long-term IT strategy.Collaborating closely with architects, solution designers, and dev-ops engineers to translate complex requirements into resilient, performant platform capabilities that drive customer-centric and business-aligned solutions.Managing end-to-end platform operations, including automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting, to enhance uptime, maintain system health, and ensure seamless deployment and integration with existing infrastructure.Developing and refining CI/CD pipelines and release automation tools to streamline delivery, improve testing rigor, and reduce cycle times, using tools like Jenkins, Sonar, and Git-based source control.Conducting technical reviews and mentoring team members, championing best practices in software design, security, and performance to foster continuous improvement across platform projects.Engaging in proactive problem-solving and rapid response to incidents, leveraging your expertise to diagnose issues, implement patches, and drive root-cause analysis for sustained platform stability. What makes you perfect for the role? Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable platform solutions for AI or data-intensive applications, ensuring alignment with long-term IT and business goals.Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, enabling efficient, automated environment management.Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and release automation, with experience in Jenkins, Sonar, and Git-based source control systems to ensure smooth and secure deployments.Solid understanding of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) for managing microservices in a high-availability, distributed computing environment.Demonstrated problem-solving skills in platform operations, including monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis to maintain platform health and minimise downtime.Background in security best practices and performance tuning for robust, optimised, and resilient platform architecture in high-stakes AI applications.Optus is a place where we let you do you.
