The Project
The CPB Contractors, Ghella & UGL joint venture has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the $3.1bn M6 Stage 1 project. The project will deliver the missing link from Sydney’s south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. It will remove more than 2,000 trucks a day from surface roads and help return local streets to local communities.
With works commenced in early 2022, the M6 Stage 1 project scope includes the construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels and associated works, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah
The Opportunity
The M6 Stage 1 project has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Document Controller to join a supportive team on an iconic construction project. The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide professional management of document control procedures.
Some of your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Administer, manage, and support the use of Ineight-Teambinder.
2. Manage the registration, identification, and distribution of documentation.
3. Set up, implement, and maintain the Project Standards library.
4. Ensure compliance with Document Control procedures.
5. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
6. Train team members to understand the system and processes.
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
7. Demonstrated experience in a Document Control position, preferably within the Construction industry
8. Previous experience with TeamBinder, ProjectWise and Bluebeam
9. Strong attention to detail
10. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
