ABOUT YOUR ROLE
This team leads the design of our category commercial strategy. We develop growth platforms and set strategic priorities under which we shape and advance plans that demonstrate where and how to grow category value. The team informs, collaborates and influences actions with cross-functional stakeholders and our customers.
As Category Manager, you will hold a business critical role that is at the heart of decision making. You will shape and influence the future of the categories we operate and the role CCEP plays in delivering category growth.
Through a deep understanding of our categories, customers and shoppers, this role will collaboratively set category strategy, design growth agendas on where and how to win, and drive outcomes across a broad stakeholder set.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
* Category strategic direction
o Ownership of Category strategic framework delivery, mapping out aligned future category vision and intentional path to category value creation
* Where and how to grow
o Analysing complex data from a range of different sources, drawing insights, opportunities and forming recommendations.
o Enable better growth decisions through thought leadership and future design informed through insights from our market, adjacent categories, emerging trends, and other international markets
* Category big bets
o Drive agenda and implementation of prioritised category specific projects per plan
* Future architecture
o Co-author portfolio strategic pack and price positioning and future NPD role requirements
* Compelling category narratives
o Category narrative for initiative decks and customer range reviews
* Product and initiative alignment
o Category NPD analysis & rationale, volume sizing, Range, Space, Visibility, Price & Operations (RSVPO) recommendations in collaboration with key stakeholders
* Integration to channel implementation planning
o Embed and drive engagement to plans across the business.
o Drives outcomes across a broad stakeholder set across At Home, Away From Home and Licenced (NARTD) account teams and other internal commercial functions, brand and franchise partners and our customers

Demonstrated Prior Experience
* Degree qualified
* Have considerable FMCG industry experience preferably with breadth across functions such as Category, Strategy, National Accounts, Field Sales or Commercial. Alternatively, a strong strategic consulting background, preferably within industry.
* Understand FMCG industry best practices and be able to leverage learnings from other categories and markets.
* Critical thinker with proven ability to form judgement
* Commercially savvy with strong analytical background with experience analysing complex data from a range of different sources, drawing insights, and forming recommendations.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as well as challenge and influence stakeholders.
* Proven track record of successfully leading projects
* Be able to adopt a pragmatic approach to deliver category solutions.
* Solution oriented with a growth mindset
* Great communicator and highly developed interpersonal skills
