We're on the lookout for a dynamic Recruitment Specialist to join our HR team and shape the future of our workforce. Reporting to the National Human Resource Manager, you'll lead the full recruitment lifecycle—from posting job ads and selecting top candidates to onboarding and supporting new hires through probation. You'll be instrumental in bringing in exceptional talent and partnering with leaders to ensure every new team member makes a lasting impact. We need a results-oriented professional who thrives on building strong relationships, crafting strategic talent solutions, and delivering a first-class candidate experience at every stage.What You'll Do: Maintain recruitment policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and business standards.Provide regular reports on vacancies, recruitment activities, and onboarding progress, delivering insights to support decision-making.Assist with interpreting and applying employment agreements, contracts, and awards during hiring processes.Support workforce planning, including forecasting recruitment needs, job design, and guiding managers through the selection and onboarding processes.Collaborate with managers, reference check providers, and visa sponsorship services to ensure a smooth recruitment experience and compliance with sponsorship requirements.Provide administrative support for performance management, including probation management, retention strategies, and succession planning.Contribute to employee engagement initiatives by collecting and analyzing feedback on the workplace environment.Assist with recruitment and termination processes, including coordinating exit interviews.Respond to HR queries, ensuring timely and accurate communication.Perform any other relevant ad hoc duties as requiredWhat You Bring: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Proven experience delivering innovative, end-to-end recruitment solutions.Proficiency with Seek, Teams, Outlook, Excel, and HR information systems.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence, coach, partner, and negotiate effectively.Enthusiasm to learn about our company, our mission, and our culture, allowing you to successfully promote our brand.High energy, resilience, and a proactive, collaborative approach—ideally with experience in a fast-changing environment.The initiative to work independently while also being a flexible team player.At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of best practices in recruitment.What's in it for you: The HR and executive team at United Safety take pride in who we are and the service we provide.
