Job Description
We are looking for talented Line Cooks to join our team at TGI Fridays Sunshine Plaza Restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for producing our great-tasting American food like wings, ribs, pasta and more in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards of Food Safety and Execution.
Duties & Essential Job Functions
* Ensure that all meals are cooked in a manner that adheres to the restaurant's recipe & plating guides as well as ensuring all meals are served in a timely manner and are of the highest possible quality.
* Manage kitchen operations, including allocating sections and secondary duties to staff, maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen, and ensuring staff follow kitchen cleaning systems.
* Prepare, cook, and present all menu items with attention to detail and adherence to standards, working across all kitchen stations.
* Clean and organise the kitchen and stock holding areas.
* Maintain occupational health and safety and food hygiene standards.
Qualifications
* Fully Trade Qualified preferred.
* Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery preferred.
