This is a fixed-term contract for six months, with the possibility of extension. The position will be based at our Williamtown, NSW site.Key responsibilities will include:Conduct logistics operations for Supply sections, encompassing transfers, dispatch, receipts, credit returns, and ordering through MILIS, ULTRAMAIN, and/or ALIS systems.Perform general store and warehouse operations alongside housekeeping duties. Administer tasks such as filing and maintaining registers.Execute periodic 'Data Integrity' audits as instructed by the Warehouse Team Leader within the designated database system. This includes conducting cyclic stocktakes and managing shelf-life and obsolescence of items in accordance with RAAF and BAE Systems policies and procedures.Carry out driving duties for the collection and delivery of items within RAAF base premises and the local BAE area.Pack items in compliance with Dangerous Goods and international regulations using appropriate Special to Type Containers, while ensuring maintenance of required certification levels to meet legislative requirements.Maintain a virtual warehouse utilizing Defence supply programs such as MILIS, ALIS, ULTRAMAIN, and/or Objective.Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently.Perform additional tasks as directed by RAAF and/or BAE.About YOUYou'll have:A valid LF/LO forklift license with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Reach Forklift operation in a warehouse environment.Must hold or be eligible to apply for Australian Government Security Clearance at either Baseline or NV1 level.Previous experience in a similar role.High attention to detail.Experience working with dangerous goods.Experience working in a team and have a commitment to continuous improvement.Ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, customers, and other staff.Computer literacy, with knowledge of MS Word and Excel and familiarity with tools like Ultramain, MILIS, SAP, and ALIS is desirable.About USYou will be joining a workplace that truly cares about your wellbeing.Our people are diverse, and we value the variety of perspectives this brings.
