Your new company An exciting day rate contracting opportunity to support a large Sydney based Local Government Authority who are embarking on an exciting Customer Experience (CX) & Digital Transformation journey. The LGA's goal is to develop organisational and technology-based capabilities that will allow them to reimagine and continuously improve their CX, creating the best possible customer experience for the community. The organisations new Digital Transformation division is at the forefront of driving this strategy, designing and delivering innovative solutions across the entire customer experience. Your new role As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the organisations Digital Transformation program. You will lead the delivery of initiatives to establish the Digital Front Door, a centralised, customer-focused platform designed to enhance community engagement with services. This platform aims to provide an intuitive, seamless experience, enabling residents and businesses to access information, engage with services, and complete transactions more efficiently and effectively. Additionally, you will support the establishment of a Digital Project Management Office (Digital PMO), implementing best-practice project management frameworks to guide the successful delivery of digital projects. Your leadership will be essential in realising the organisations vision of a digitally enabled future that prioritises customer needs and creates lasting value for the community. What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated experience delivering Digital Transformation initiatives with a sound understanding of digital products, Human Centred Design and CX. Proven expertise in managing complex projects, with a strong grasp of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Project, Planner, Excel, etc.). Ability to integrate future planning with human-centred design, lean principles, and agile delivery methods. A self-starter mindset, capable of driving projects forward and making key decisions independently. Leadership skills to inspire and guide teams and diverse stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in managing budgets and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Effective negotiation skills for working with stakeholders, vendors, and team members.
