This role will drive continuous improvement in our inventory management processes, to ensure a timely delivery of stock to Distribution Centres, Stores & Customers; this will encompass all physical, systemic & operational elements.About the role:Perform stock takes and maintain scheduled cycle counts (location, SKU, units)Investigate physical versus system variancesAdjust stock after discrepancies with relevant due diligenceMonitor and forecast location occupancy based on inbound/outbound forecastsAnalyse location velocity and accuracyConduct ABC analysis and slottingCreate and implement pick and reserve strategies with stakeholdersDevelop replenishment and put away strategies with stakeholdersPlan pick path and aged stock transfers with stakeholdersPerform item master data checks with local teamsReconcile inventory (Physical vs. System) with stakeholdersCreate inventory KPI reportsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, reduce costs and improve efficiencyLead and support team members to achieve DC Operational KPIs and maintain high performanceFoster cross-functional department communication through regular meetings.About you:Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain or logistics3 years + inventory control experience in a supply chain environmentHigh volume, high frequency environment – ideally Retail or FMCGHigh level of computer skills including Excel at an advanced level and strong word skillsPassionate about innovation and continuous improvementStrong organisational and multi-tasking skillsStrong analytical skills.This position offers great exposure to senior stakeholders.
