Macnaught is seeking for an experienced and skilled Electronics Engineer to join our innovative team at Macnaught. This role will design, develop and test cutting-edge electronic components, systems and products. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to bring new ideas from concept to production, ensuring the highest standards of performance, reliability and efficiency.
Key accountabilities-
Design and develop electronic systems, components and circuits for a variety of applications. Hardware and firmware development for new electromechanical products like Battery driven pumps, grease gun. Establish and monitor performance and safety standards and procedures for operation, modification, maintenance and repair of such systems.Perform detailed circuit design including schematic capture, PCB layout and component selection.Conduct testing and debugging of electronic systems, identifying and resolving any issues.Lead and collaborate with contract manufacturing and external design house to develop PCBA for electromechanical designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical and manufacturing engineers within the team to meet development deadlines & Working with the production team to optimise manufacturing processes.Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Design and test to relevant Australian and international standards.Document designs, test plans, and results for effective knowledge sharing.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.Provide Customer Technical Support and address major field failures pertaining to electro mechanical parts.Design, maintain and manage test rigs for Electromechanical products assembly and testing. PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE- Bachelors / Masters in Electronics / Electrical Engineering 2-3 years relevant experience in Industrial B2B environment, desirable.Demonstrated solid hardware design experience, SCADA and PLC desirable. Proven experience in detailed design of analogue and digital circuits including Embedded firmware development in Embedded C/C++.Experience in PCBA design software like Altium designerBasic MS Office skills
