Job DescriptionLead, innovate, and inspire as our Laboratory Manager! We're looking for a dynamic leader to oversee the safe operation and performance of our CMT laboratory in Perth, WA. Accredited with NATA ISO17025, our lab conducts onsite NDM and concrete testing, as well as onsite sampling of soils, concrete, and aggregate.
In this full-time role, you'll drive compliance with industry standards, ensure outstanding customer service, and cultivate a collaborative team culture. Take charge of staff development, succession planning, and the future success of our lab.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToOversee all laboratory operationsManage resources of staff and equipment to ensure clients receive timely test results for their projectsImplement strategies that optimise operational effectivenessConduct testing as requiredActively engage with current and potential new customersMaintain effective communication with Management and provide timely, accurate reporting to the Business ManagerEnsure technicians receive adequate and appropriately documented training and development in accordance with SGS and NATA requirementsEnsure the laboratories adhere to quality standards and test results and reports are issued in accordance with ISO 17025Implement and drive key Lean tools (i.e. Kaizen, Kanban).QualificationsThe perfect fit for this role will have:
An Advanced Diploma in Laboratory TechniquesIn-depth knowledge of ISO 17025Proven experience as a Laboratory Manager or SupervisorComprehensive knowledge of, and previous NATA signatory for soil AS1289 and MRWA test methodsStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive teamsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and contractors at all levelsA solid track record of understanding and meeting customer requirementsThink you're the right fit?
