This role requires a highly organised individual who can manage cross-functional projects, lead key initiatives, and be a trusted advisor to the CEO. You will streamline internal operations, manage communications, and foster a culture of collaboration and efficiency across departments, especially in our fast-paced hardware startup environment.Targeting Commencement in January/February 2025 Reporting to: CEOKey Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Planning and Execution: Support the CEO in shaping and executing the company's strategic vision. Translate high-level goals into actionable plans and monitor progress. Ensure alignment between departments. 2. Operational Support: Implement processes and tools to improve internal operations and support scalability. Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely completion and resolving bottlenecks. Oversee internal communications to ensure all teams align with company goals. 3. Leadership and Team Support: Facilitate collaboration among departments to foster a cohesive working environment. Assist in hiring and onboarding key personnel as the company scales. 4. Financial and Resource Management: Support budget management by tracking expenditures and ensuring efficient resource allocation. Work with the CEO and finance team on fundraising efforts and investor relations. 5. Culture and Employee Engagement: Foster company culture, ensuring the workplace remains collaborative and mission-driven. Create engagement programs that enhance employee morale and retention. 6. External Relations and Partnerships: Manage external communication with stakeholders, partners, and suppliers. Support business development efforts by evaluating potential partnerships or market opportunities. Requirements Qualifications/Skills: Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional teams. Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced hardware startup, balancing multiple priorities. Experience: Experience supporting leadership teams and managing cross-functional projects. Proven ability to manage strategic initiatives and track progress against key goals. Experience in hardware or product-focused industries is preferred but not required. Experience in budget management and working closely with finance teams. Personal Attributes: Honest, curious, inclusive, collaborative, transparent, and responsible.
