This unit forms a critical part of Mater Hospital Brisbane's Surgical and Acute Nursing Services.
Our exceptional nursing team are required to provide quality care across all these areas, presenting opportunities and variety.As an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse, you will use your experience and skills to provide quality care to patients who are admitted for day surgery and inpatient care, always ensuring excellent standards of nursing care and working closely with patients and their families ensuring they experience a sensitive, welcoming, and friendly environment at all times.About youThe successful applicant will possess:Recent surgical and/or perioperative experience including the management of patient process from admission through to dischargeCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with other health professionals and community services in the delivery of health careExcellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skillsA demonstrated awareness of and involvement in quality and risk managementMater is Queensland's largest and most innovative not-for-profit healthcare service, providing care for almost 700,000 patients a year across a network of 11 hospitals.We are a leader in healthcare, education and research — and that's because we employ exceptional people.
