As a Senior Learning Specialist – Commercial Credit, you'll be the go-to expert in commercial credit, business banking products, and customer engagement practices. Your role will involve designing and facilitating a variety of learning solutions to meet the credit capability needs across Business Bank, Group Risk, Transformation & Operations, and Retail Bank. You'll be responsible for creating and delivering Commercial Credit programs and upskilling initiatives for bankers and credit officers at all levels. This includes new hires, intermediates, and experienced professionals. In this role, you'll design and facilitate critical learning programs and competency assessments to advance both technical and behavioural commercial credit skills. You'll analyse organisational data—covering performance, credit, risk, people, and customer outcomes—to recommend learning interventions that enhance credit capabilities and skills. You'll also design materials to support the Business Bank Capability and Talent Framework, working closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts. Your responsibilities will include the ongoing refinement and management of training content, ensuring it meets legislative and policy changes, enhances learner experience, and improves business performance and customer outcomes. Additionally, you'll manage the nomination, administration, and preparation of training materials for various courses. You'll ensure all mandatory training is completed and assessments are successfully undertaken according to the training plan, such as Business Training Pathways. Coordinating with vendors for advanced commercial credit programs will also be part of your role. You'll need to be adept at using engaging facilitation techniques that effectively transfer knowledge in both classroom and digital settings. Excellent internal consulting skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities, are essential. Ideally, you should have a solid understanding of training needs analysis, methodologies, and the ability to identify key learning moments to choose the most effective learning solutions. Additionally, we're seeking someone who is confident in exploring how new technologies can enhance the design and delivery of engaging learning experiences.
