About the role
* You will be managing a Large service with opportunity for even more growth.
* The Program Manager’s primary role is to oversee all day to day operations at their Before and After Care service.
* The role will be accountable for all management, support, training and professional development for the team of Directors, 2ICs and Educators, and will be accountable for ensuring a high quality and viable program for the service community.
* To be onsite for at least one Before School Care and four After School Care sessions per week.
* The role will focus on direct management of a team of Directors of Service, and indirect management and support of a team of Educators and support staff.
* Overseeing the planning, resourcing and delivery of remarkable, fun and engaging program for all groups and children in attendance.
* Building and maintaining exceptional relationships with the children, families, school leadership and wider school community.
* Impact the lives of children and their families by delivering a remarkable service and creating life-long memories.

Service Operating Times
Before school care, 7:00am – 9:00am
After school care, 2:15pm - 6:00pm.
Staffing structure:
This is a large service, and TeamKids has put together a unique staffing structure to support the needs of this school, to ensure the utmost support is provided. This will include, a full-time on-site Program Manager, full-time Director of Service (x2), full-time Child Wellbeing and Inclusion Officer, Second in Charge (x2), Permanent part-time educators (x10) and a pool of casual educators.
School Specifics
This is one service, that caters for two separate schools, all on the same site. Beautiful, spacious environment with a mix of dedicated spaces and a big shared hall. This is a large service, with joint facilities. Commercial kitchen on site. Working with two schools that are super keen and excited to work collaboratively.
You’ll be perfect for this role if you’re:

* A natural leader with great communication skills – from chatting with kids to meeting with principals.
* Exceptional leadership and management skills with background in managing large groups of children and staff - ideally a large child care service or large OSHC service.
* Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
* Passionate about providing primary-aged kids with unforgettable experiences.

Qualifications
