Whilst the chosen applicant will have the flexibility to adapt their hours to best suit their lifestyle, including working shifts within school hours if desired, we are ideally seeking applicants with the ability to work shifts that include a Tuesday and Wednesday each week.About usEstablished in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 339-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.Gold Coast Private Hospital is committed to continual growth, providing exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in healthcare.As a Human Resources/Payroll Administration officer, your responsibilities will include:Maintain and update employee moves and changes for input to the payroll system on a monthly basis;Management of Employee personnel files, including performance appraisals, position descriptions, visa sponsorships, and payroll documentation;Coordinate staff uniform program for new and existing employees;Act as an initial contact for leaders and employees with HR and Payroll queries;Provide an exemplary standard of customer service delivery to both external and internal customers;Prepare and send general employee related correspondence;Complete additional ad hoc clerical tasks as required for the People, Culture and Engagement, and Executive teams;Positively contribute to key People, Culture and Engagement team projects, as required;Assist to organise onsite orientation for new starters.Minimum Qualifications:Proven experience in a general administration role, within a Human Resources or Payroll function, in a fast paced environment.Generalist Human Resources knowledge (desirable).Highly organised, and process oriented with high attention to detail.Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (including Outlook, Word and Excel).Excellent level of interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professionalism and confidentiality.Ability to multitask displaying adaptability and flexibility.Sound knowledge of workplace relations and employment instruments (desirable).Why Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
