Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Australia / New Zealand provides contract GMP testing to human and animal pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and complementary medicine manufactures, as well as an extensive range of SPF and other cosmetics testing, both in-vitro and in-vivo in accordance with a range of local and international standards. The range of testing includes microbiological and chemistry on raw materials, in process and finished products, complemented by product formulation services. We operate out of two main sites in Sydney and Auckland, with two satellite operations in Melbourne and Brisbane. All our sites are GMP licensed by local regulators and are accredited to ISO 17025. In addition to the provision of world class analytical testing, the laboratories also provide consultative services to their clients made available by a team of highly qualified scientists.
Job Description
* Full time, permanent opportunity based in Sydney, NSW with some travel required to interstate and New Zealand.

Reporting to the Managing Director / National Business Line Leader, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for executing on a number of operational and strategic initiatives to build people capability, problem solve, increase employee engagement and consistently apply the employment legal framework.
Key accountabilities for this role will include but not limited to:
* Build capacity for the overall effective management of people, and improve processes relating to the employee life-cycle within the scope, including but not limited to talent acquisition, talent development, talent management and talent separation.
* Build strong collaborative relationships with managers across client groups to influence effective business outcomes and support the achievement of business objectives.
* Provide support to managers in undertaking effective workforce planning and identify the capacity and capability of the organisation to deliver its objectives, analysing trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies, and the mix of workforce types best suited to service delivery, which responds to current and future organisational strategy and business needs.
* Work with managers and supervisors to increase employee engagement and support consistent application of HR policies and practices.
* Provide thought leadership and collaborate with senior management in designing organisational solutions, leading organisational structure reviews and identify current and future organisational design opportunities and issues.
* Undertake pro-active case management of performance and work in consultation with OHS Managers in relation to fitness for duty, attendance, early intervention, rehabilitation and compensation cases in client groups applying knowledge of the Eurofins Enterprise Agreements, Eurofins policies, relevant legislation and HR best practice.
Qualifications
To be successful for this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Degree or Graduate Diploma in Human Resources or related tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent HR experience across a range of HR functions, including all relevant employment laws and legislation.
* Demonstrated experience working in a HR Business Partnering service model, coaching and providing support to business leaders.
* Evidence of extensive experience in key Human Resource areas including case management, coaching, workforce planning, organisation development, remuneration, performance management, succession planning and talent management.
* Proven ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, discretion and judgement while maintaining a strong customer service approach.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with ability to engage across all levels of the business.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
* Able to apply effective written and interpersonal communication skills and build / maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to use both common and job-specific software proficiently for a range of work tasks, and undertake required administrative tasks efficiently, accurately and with attention to detail.
* Hold full working rights in Australia.
