About the role:
Our Logistics Team is the heart of our business with a focus on delivering great customer service, working closely with a number of our coal chain partners and internal stakeholders to manage inbound and outbound logistics plans. Our Logistics Coordinators work a predominantly day shift role with a focus on overseeing the 12-48 hour time horizon.
Key responsibilities include: Coordinating receivals, cargo assembly, transfers and ship loading Reviewing future plans to identify conflicts and opportunities to ensure effective outcomes for Port Waratah and its customers Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including the Hunter Valley Coal Chain Coordinator, customers and other stakeholders Provide key support and guidance including leave relief for Live Run Scheduler role Manage and respond to disruptions while maximising opportunities for throughput Desired Skills and Experience:
What we are looking for:
Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills with high attention to detail Ability to prioritise, influence and execute work in a time sensitive environment Great communication and stakeholder management skills A flexible 'can do' attitude and ability to work different shift patterns when required Experience in bulk material handling, planning or logistics in a heavy industry environment while not essential will be highly regarded Training and ongoing development will be provided to the successful candidate Benefits:
