The Role: Key Responsibilities: Sell Australia-made as well as overseas imported products and services to customers and markets in line with budgeted targets. Prospect for new clients by networking and developing and plan a robust pipeline of sales. Screen potential business deals by analysing deal requirements and financials. Maintain and develop fleet customer relationships. Position the business to understand the industry and to seek out new markets and business opportunities. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences to establish new relationships. Work with potential clients by assessing their vehicle requirements and desired outcomes to offer a positive business solution. Qualifications and Experience: Experience: Minimum of 5+ years Sales experience within the Tanker industry with extensive knowledge in heavy vehicle products and specifications. Communication: Excellent verbal communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to convey and educate technical information effectively. Client Focused: Collaborative and proactive client-focused team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, contributing innovative ideas to solve client's problems. Organisation and Adaptability: Experienced presentation and tender development skills with the ability to adapt quickly to client queries. Industry Focus: Expertise in heavy industry, specifically in trailer, tanker, and heavy vehicle design, showcasing demonstrated manufacturing experience, particularly in low to medium-volume production. Must hold a current Drivers Open License, and national travel will be a requirement of the role, with 2 out of 3 weeks on the road expected.
