Working with a well-known organization in collaborative, team environment, our Client is seeking a switched on Payroll Officer to join their team in a temporary position with a view to permanency.
Role & Responsibilities
You will work among a large sized team and report directly into the Payroll Team Leader. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
1. Processing weekly payroll across Australia in a high volume environment
2. Interpretation and application of various EBAs and awards
3. Prepare and lodge payroll tax and superannuation
4. Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
5. Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
6. Additional duties to assist the Payroll Manager and wider team
The Ideal Candidate
The successful application will have relevant experience in a similar role, and a passion for payroll. You will have effective time management and organizational skills, and a proven ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a team. Strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and a willingness to be flexible will be essential for this position. Prior knowledge of a large ERP would be considered advantageous for this position, but not mandatory.
