Operate, Maintain and Improve Heidelberg Materials Australia is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations across Australia. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join our Hobart quarry team as a Leading Hand. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this role will be a multi-faceted position, responsible for supervising quarry operations with a focus on production enhancement and improvement, therefore, the ideal candidate will preferably have mobile and fixed plant experience, with a background in mining, mineral sands, crushing hard rock or any floatation process highly regarded. Front End Loader experience and the ability to use Loadrite will be highly advantageous. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday with average rostered hours being 6am – 4pm as well as rostered Saturday shifts, 6am – 12pm midday.
