The role includes a clinical component to provide high quality clinical psychology services, and the scope to work on strategic projects and key initiatives that continue to drive innovation and the quality of our services.Under the delegation of the Head of Department for Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology, day to day, you will be responsible within the clinical stream for:Supporting the coordination and delivery of clinical psychology and neuropsychology service priorities as part of a contemporary model of care.Overseeing the operational and clinical coordination, including providing specialised consultation and discipline-related education and training.Providing leadership and senior direction within the Department, monitoring, and coordinating service standards, performance development and administrative functions.Practicing as a Senior Clinical Psychologist and ensuring your practice is in accordance with laws and ethical standards governing psychological practice as per the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).About our Department:We are a dedicated and dynamic team of Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists working across multiple campuses within the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG). We provide tertiary inpatient and outpatient specialised psychological services as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team.Our team of highly trained and experienced clinicians collaborate to deliver comprehensive, targeted, and holistic psychological assessments, formulation and interventions to children, adults, and older adults, and their families/carers presenting with complex medical, chronic health, cognitive, rehabilitation and mental health needs. As part of a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals, we aim to deliver streamlined, high-quality, evidence-informed psychological services to promote engagement with medical treatment, rehabilitation and enhance psychological and mental health well-being.We provide education and consultation to the wider hospital teams on psychological management of complex presentations.
