The Role
Our Café/Kiosk Attendants need to have the highest level of customer service skills.
The primary responsibility of our Café/Kiosk Attendants is to deliver first-class services to our patrons, ensuring it is in line with our Mission, Vision and Values.
Key areas of responsibility include:
* Provide excellent customer service to all customers
* Maintain the appearance and presentation of the café
* Replenish condiments as needed
* Follow health and safety guidelines
* Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash
* Apply sound cash handling principles and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
* Promote the centre's services and programs to our patrons
* Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons
* Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options
* Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. Hours may increase during the centre's peak periods
Skills & Attributes:
* Positive, friendly, helpful, and energetic work style
* Coffee making/barista skills
* Food handling Certificate
* Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2)
* Current CPR Certificate
* Current Food Handlers Qualification
* Police Check
* Working with Children Check
* Ability to be flexible during the centre's peak periods
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but candidates with a friendly attitude and a customer service mindset are encouraged to apply!
