This position offers the opportunity to work in a stunning beachside location for a professional couple who have two of their adult children living at home. Additionally, with their pregnant daughter living nearby, you will be required to assist with baby care duties in the future.The position is live-in, with modern, self-contained accommodation and a separate entry. While this role is ideal for a highly organised solo housekeeper with an exceptional eye for detail, it also suits a harmonious couple should this be your preference. For couples, there are up to two days of maintenance or handyman tasks available, including external cleaning of the property, making this a great opportunity for those with additional skills and interests OR for those couples who work well as a team.Duties & Responsibilities - Housekeeping:Maintain this beautiful family home in immaculate condition by ensuring all daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and organisation tasks are thoroughly completed.Manage general housekeeping tasks, including wardrobe management, all laundry tasks including ironing and valeting clothes and minor repairs when needed.Resetting the house daily including managing linens, making beds, regular vacuuming and ensuring the kitchen and eating areas are always tidy and presentable.Organise storage rooms and cupboards to ensure they are tidy at all times.Maintain an up to date stocktake list of household items required and ensure the pantry and fridge are well stocked.Clean oven, organise freezer and bathroom cupboards every month paying attention to use by dates.Report maintenance issues as they occur and ensure the home's high standards are well maintained.Running errands and shopping.Assist with meal preparation.Assist with care of their dog and feeding.Supervise an external weekly cleaner and liaise with other members of staff and tradesmen to ensure smooth running of the household.Comfortable greeting visitors and provide light support with entertaining duties.Assist with baby duties in the near future.Duties & Responsibilities - Maintenance:Oversee contractors who regularly attend the property such as pool cleaners and gardeners.Liaise with the Executive Assistant regularly to ensure the equipment service schedule is adhered to and assist with any ad-hoc duties as they occur.Clean, sweep and maintain outdoor patio areas, courtyard, pool and BBQ ensuring they are always ready for use.Ensure outdoor furniture is cleaned, maintained and put away when not in use.Ensure the rubbish bins are put on the street and to regularly clean and disinfect them.Clean the boat house.Occasional driving.Requirements:Must have exceptional attention to detail, with a calm and thorough approach to their work, along with excellent organisational and time management skills.Ideal for candidates with at least 2 years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper, preferably with house management skills, experience in 5-star resorts, or a background in superyacht crew.Australian citizen, resident, or holder of a suitable work visa with two years minimum left.Well presented, tidy person/couple with a warm, friendly disposition and can do attitude.Ability to handle the demands of a busy household efficiently and prioritise accordingly as plans change.The ability to work independently and take direction. A fast learner.Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all family members and staff.Great interpersonal skills, with hospitality experience as a bonus, to assist with visitors and entertaining.Self-motivated, flexible with the ability to take initiative and problem solve.Professional, reliable, and trustworthy.Comfortable and experienced with babies and pets.Highly discreet and always respects confidentiality.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.National Police check.WWCC (Working with Children Card).Excellent contactable references.Job Conditions:Great salary + super etc.Excellent working conditions.Live-in position with modern, self-contained accommodation provided.Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with general hours of 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.Flexibility required for some evening and weekend work with notice.Car provided for work purposes.
