Job Description
Reporting to the DC Supervisor and/or the DC Team Leader, The DC Team Member is responsible for the daily DC operations including picking, unloading, loading and counting products with a continual focus on Safety, Service, Cost and Team
Position Responsibilities
* Ensure that all incidents/injuries, near misses and hazards are reported in a timely manner to the Warehouse Manager/State Operations Manager.
* Handle products in line with safety and handling induction and training.
* Adhere to WH&S policies and procedures
* Responsible for ensuring all relevant Safe Working Practices (SWPs) in accordance with the National Safety Plan
* Ensure the right training and processes are in place to minimise incidents/injuries.
* Process stock received into the warehouse as per company procedures.
* Transfer stock to designated storage areas as per company procedures
* Pick stock to picking lanes as per company procedure.
* Conduct Cycle Counts.
* Perform any suitable duties as requested by Supervisors or Managers in other areas of the business including but not limited to cleaning, receiving, returns, dispatch and administration.
* Work as part of a dynamic Team to build better and safer procedures.
* Build positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure good housekeeping including cleaning floors, racking etc.
* Use of mechanical handling equipment with appropriate training and licences
* Ensure accuracy of the product against picking instructions to ensure the customer gets what they ordered.
* Looking up missing parts
* Wrapping of stock.
* Cleaning products
* Testing units
* Sorting work floor for the day
* Putting stock away
* Stock Investigation
* Booking in purchase orders of consignment stock
Qualifications
* Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
* Preferably experienced with appliances, furniture, or bulky items.
* Strong safety focus and keen attention to detail.
* High attention to detail
* Proficient in multitasking.
* Excellent team player with good communication skills.
* Possesses a proactive and can-do attitude.

* Monday to Friday 5am - 1pm
