Position Description:
Pivotal to their operations, this practice employs a team of skilled General Practitioners who play a key role not only within the organisation but within the local community, and are passionate about providing high quality, person-centered care to their patients and residents.
Given the breadth of their services, and the region’s broad demographic, their GPs manage a variety of complex health issues, affording challenging and rewarding work. This includes provision of professional supervision to Registrars, Interns and Students, as the Medical Practice is an accredited Rural Training Clinic.
Being a values-based, for purpose organisation, members of the team enjoy a strong team spirit and are driven to improve the quality of life for all their stakeholders. As such, neither their people nor their patients/residents are ever treated as ‘just a number’. Whilst they must of course ensure the viability of the business, they are not commercially driven.
The practice's GPs enjoy considerable work/life balance opportunities including sociable work hours, flexibility, onsite short-term and long-term off-site rental accommodation (if required). Whilst the ideal locum would be looking to work full-time, part-time work hours would be considered for the right person.
The organisation is governed by a skills-based Board of Directors and managed by a professional, dedicated Management Team that values the skill, knowledge and contribution of their GPs while providing quality leadership and support, and the opportunity for all team members to develop to their potential.
CPD opportunities are provided (and often funded) by the organisation, with Clinical Team support and mentoring also provided on-site by their Director of Medical Services and Clinical Governance Committee, and via regular Clinical Team Meetings and Specialist ‘Meet ‘n Greets’. Access to CDM and QIP programs, online resources such as AMH and eTG, an in-house Human Resources function and free Employee Assistance Program is also provided.
As a GP with this practice, you will not only enjoy challenging and rewarding work, be a respected and supported member of their dedicated and purpose-driven team, be well remunerated without the hassle and expense of running your own business, be afforded the time to focus on the person sitting in front of you, spend your days in a relaxing country town and enjoy significant work/life balance benefits, where you will reconnect with your vocation.
Join this practice in delivering care, compassion and choice to our patients and residents, thereby improving their, and your, quality of life!
