About the role
Negus Enterprises PTY LTD is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dairy Operator- Farm Assistant to join our farming operations in Busselton, Western Australia. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic agricultural environment.
What you'll be doing
* Assist with the daily operations of our dairy farm, including milking, feeding, and general animal care
* Maintain the cleanliness and order of the dairy facilities and equipment
* Operate basic farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors and tele handlers
* Monitor the health and wellbeing of the dairy herd, administering medication where required, and report any issues to the farm manager
* Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the farm
What we're looking for
* Previous experience working on a dairy farm or in a similar agricultural setting
* Strong practical skills and the ability to operate farm machinery and equipment
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity
* Good physical fitness and the ability to perform physical labour as required
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and the willingness to learn and adapt
