Why Oodles Therapy?
Oodles Therapy is an emerging allied health private practice based on Jawoyn land in Katherine in the Northern Territory. Currently comprising of occupational therapy and speech pathology services, Oodles Therapy is a clinic-based service, however, also engages with clients in community settings such as schools, homes, and workplaces.

What’s the role?
* Engage in OT specific and transdisciplinary assessment, intervention, and planning for clients across the lifespan, including ECEI, NDIS, Aged Care and privately funded clients
* Provide high quality, meaningful and culturally safe services to clients
* Maintain responsibility for a caseload of clients in line with Oodles Therapy and funding requirements
* Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, families, team members and other key stakeholders
* Utilise a strengths-based, client centred approach to support a client to identify their goals
* Complete ADL (activity of daily living), FCA (functional capacity assessments) and SIL (supported independent living) assessments within the client’s home or other
Is this the right role for you?
* Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years experience
* Registration with AHPRA
* Current driver’s license
* Ochre Card (NT Working with Children’s Check)
* Police Check (to be completed by Oodles Therapy with your permission)
* Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check (to be completed by Oodles Therapy with your permission)
* Commitment to providing allied health services in remote areas, including willingness to relocate/live in Katherine
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
