This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced or Junior Speech Pathologist to join this warm not-for-profit service on a fee-for-service or permanent basis. This well-established, multidisciplinary team welcomes an SLP to conduct assessments and deliver services to clients in the Mornington region. If you are on-boarding on a permanent basis, this service offers a range of support, tailored to the individual. The Role: Undertake assessments and provide intervention, liaising with families, teachers & other relevant stakeholders. Interventions will be carried out in the community (homes, schools, etc) and clinic. Interventions will have a focus on evidence-based practice Contract: Services will be provided on a fee-for-service basis and caseloads tailored to your interests and availability Permeant: If of interest, participate in regular supervision support. Provide support and encouragement to other members of the multi-disciplinary team. Participate in group interventions Requirements: Tertiary Qualification Speech Pathology (with SPA membership). A passion for facilitating and enabling meaningful outcomes for children or adults with a disability and their families Experience as a Speech Pathologist is preferred however not essential Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families to ensure that therapy is fun and engaging. Current driver's license and car Working with Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these).
