Job Summary:
Our Beach Activities team based at qualia's private Pebble Beach offers a range of activities for our guests to take to the water on a catamaran, stand-up paddle board, pedal board, or sea kayak, or perhaps on a guided catamaran sail.
Your Role:
As an Activities Attendant, your day will be spent at qualia's private beach assisting our guests in enjoying beach and water activities. Whether it is sailing one of our hobie cats, snorkelling, kayaking, or cruising the clear blue waters on a stand-up paddle board, you will be there to assist, coach, and ensure the safety of our guests.
* Provide impeccable service to meet the expectations of our guests.
* Have a strong and thorough knowledge of all beach activities and be proficient in them to teach our guests.
* Ensure all equipment is stored, maintained, and checked to maximise guest and instructor safety.
* Be constantly alert to tide and weather changes ensuring the safety of guests and equipment.
* Assist guests with a range of sporting equipment including kayaks, snorkels, and SUPs.
* Conduct a guided tour of Whitsunday Peak, the highest peak in the Whitsundays.
* Perform guided sailing on our fleet of Hobie catamarans.

* Impeccable grooming and presentation.
* Excellent time management skills & ability to adapt & personalise activities.
* Coxswain Grade 3 or above qualification (essential).
* Open/unrestricted driver license (essential).
* Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR (essential).
* Use initiative and have a proactive and positive attitude to assist team members to ensure operations run smoothly.
* Dedicated to stay a minimum of 12 months & passionate about progressing in career.
* Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
